Summary of Acceptable Food in HCG Diet



So here is a legend for HCG dieters that would have helped me in the beginning ( I will add as I go along):
Loading days:  The first two days that you begin taking the HCG and you eat everything in site. 
VLCD:  Very Low Calorie Diet the days after the loading days that you eat 500 calories from the protocol and take HCG
PROTOCOL: This is from Dr. Simeon's book Pounds and Inches.  It is a must read.
LDW:  The weight on the last day that you receive a dose of HCG.  (The measuring stick you use to gauge the 2 lb limit gain/loss on maintenance)
ROUND:  Rounds on HCG range from 23 days minimum to a maximum of 45 days
PHASE 1:  This phase was not in the original protocol (which is the only thing I rely on for the most accurate information.  This is in the HCG redbook as a preemptive to starting the HCG.  From what I have seen not many people do it, and neither did I.
PHASE 2:  The VLCD days
PHASE 3:  The three weeks of maintenance required after every HCG round
PHASE 4:  The life phase (three weeks long after maintenance where you introduce carbs and sugars back into the diet slowly, or if you have reached your goal...forever)
You will often see posts starting with things like R1PH2D21  This would mean Round 1, Phase 2, Day 21
